A sad day for the Navy...and me.

So, I return from the 3rd annual Ya-Ya-Sisterhood Weekend in Maryland with Sam in tow. "Hmmm" you ask yourself a boy in the "Sisterhood?" Well, first we are an open minded family, if Sam wants to be a Drag Queen, I say "go for it sister just let me borrow those shoes when you're done with them." And second, for the second year my Uncle Robert has participated in the sisterhood. Not because he wanted to, more because it is usually hosted(lucky him) at his house. He graciously acts as our chauffeur/bodyguard/constant source of entertainment/paparazzi and this year he has added to his repertoire, childcare. He was so awesome with Sam and gave me a chance to shop with my Mom and Aunt Joyce and go in a ridiculous amount of gift shops and boutiques and of course, have our ever popular sisterhood chatter fest. Wine, fake cheese pretzels, gossip, fashion, laughter, etc. We spent a day in Annapolis and checked out the masses of uniformed and (formerly) good looking Navy cadets. (Much to our dismay this year the Navy has lowered its standards in the looks department, oh and not to mention the age. Oh or are we getting older? Hmmm. No eye candy this year ladies.) We did some more shopping, ate a barrel of steamed Maryland blue crab and did some manditory relaxation. Another successful year. Some wimps do spring break in Cancun, we do spring break in style.

**hold up glass to toast** "To next year in Boulder!" (o.k. or Amish country)
